Base: Canvas
Made Using: Acrylics
Topic: Lord Ganesha is my favorite subject to paint! He is also known as the Elephant God. In India, whatever the occasion may be, he is the first god to be prayed.....
I have written "वक्रतुंड महाकाय सूर्यकोटि समप्रभनिर्विघ्नं कुरु मे देव सर्वकार्येषु सर्वदा"- The meaning of which is given below:
The Lord with the curved trunk and a mighty body, who has the magnificence of a Million suns, I pray to you Oh Lord, to remove the obstacles from all the actions I intend to perform.

Megha, very interesting piece. Acrylic!! I sense you are experimenting a bit -- I see more gradation, a different art medium, and the lovely flowing line that divides the painting from the writing. Nice piece. Keep up the good work!

Love this one, Megha! I don't know what the writing says but it has such a great graphic look and works so well in this piece. I like the bold way the elephant's ears divide the canvas. Great job!
