: This is a free hand Madhubani Painting. I was keen to make Madhubani Painting and one day while sitting I just started and the result is in front of you all. These are usually colorful but I just wanted to do its outline.
P.S: Madhubani painting has been done traditionally by the women of villages around the present town of Madhubani (the literal meaning of which is forests of honey). The painting was traditionally done on freshly plastered mud wall of huts, but now it is also done on cloth, hand-made paper and canvas.(Source:wikipedia)

: This is a Rajasthani Woman, whom I have tried to portray in Graphite Pencil. I had her photograph as a reference. Rajasthani woman and that too villager are very shy. As you can see, she is holding her pallu in her hand to cover her face. I loved her facial expression and gave an attempt as a graphite sketch! I hope you all will like it! :)

: Rajasthani Painting or any regional painting needs a lot of detail. It needs a lot of attention and concentration. I took almost 3 days to complete it. In this painting you can see King and Queen are sitting on the Ship of Desert- Camel. This type is quite seen in Rajasthani work. For a change, I have also posted a close-up of the Rajasthani Hero and his Heroine...:) I hope you all will like it...:)
