: Indian Marriage- Means lot of fun, tasty food, colorful outfits, dance, and lots of memories..:) Traditionally, the celebration of marriage starts before 10 days. It is actually those beautiful moments of life, which one wants to cherish..
Here I have posted one of the ceremonies i.e Saat fere
. It means both bride and groom has to take 7 rounds around fire (Agni) and have to pledge that they will be together forever! What a feeling it is! :)

Megha, another fabulous folk painting! Those wedding clothes are beautiful, both in their intricate details and in their colors. Being an oleo of all different nations here in the US, I can't think of a single tradition that stands out in the marriage ceremonies, at least not one that transcends time.

This is a charming piece, Megha--and so much more. The composition is beautifully balanced: the colors are both harmonious and richly gorgeous: and the combination of delicacy and vitality is masterful. Well-done, indeed!
